Ceremonial Matcha

Herbanica's Ceremonial Matcha is a ceremonial-grade powdered green tea, originating from Kyoto, one of Japan's most renowned regions for growing matcha. Made from the first harvest of the year (ichibancha) and stone-ground using the traditional method, it offers a fine powder, an intense vivid green, with a smooth taste and no bitterness.

INGREDIENTS

Japanese powdered green tea - Ceremonial grade (100% pure, no additives)

INSTRUCTIONS

• 1/2 teaspoon of ceremonial matcha (about 2 g)
• 125 ml hot water at 85°C (185°F)
• Sift the matcha to avoid lumps
• Add the hot water and whisk in a zigzag motion with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until a light foam forms

Note: rich in natural caffeine, it is best enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon, as part of a wellness routine.
